Carole and Derek Ball welcome you to their home, Newhouse Farm, a former Victorian farmhouse set in 5 acres of lovely gardens and meadows.

We are ideally situated between Devizes and Trowbridge, and guests can explore the extensive Wiltshire countryside, wonderful gardens and landscapes, ancient sites such as Stonehenge and Avebury, as well as charming country villages, all within a short drive from Newhouse Farm.

Our position and bed & breakfast facilities are attractive to tourists and families, as well as those on business who wish to base themselves away from noisy town centres.

The house dates from the mid 1800s and offers generously proportioned rooms decorated to a high standard. The guest rooms are in a recently constructed wing, carefully designed to match the style of the original house and offering comfortable well-appointed accommodation. One room is situated on the ground floor, which is much appreciated by less mobile visitors. We have an Access Statement on Newhouse Farm detailing the access to all of our facilities. To view or download it please select the link HERE (The statement is a PDF document).

Our farmhouse is easy to find from all directions, being situated on the A361 road, and has its own bus stop for those who wish to use public transport. Extensive off-road parking is provided.

The original farm buildings still exist, and have been renovated over the last few years to include covered parking for vehicles, and secure storage for cycles is available. Walks to the Kennet and Avon canal, as well as to local pubs and nearby villages can be taken from the house.

Within a few minutes drive are several good pubs, all offering high quality food to suit all tastes. The local brew, Wadworths 6X, is highly recommended. For olde-worlde charm do not miss a visit to the historic National Trust village of Lacock, made famous by its appearance in many period films, as well as "Harry Potter".

Several other National Trust properties are within easy reach, as well as the prime tourist attractions of Bath, Longleat safari park and Salisbury.

The most delightful B&B you could ever find!
